Naomi Punk - "The Spell" (The Spell~Digital Single) 2011

Naomi Punk's 2009 self titled debut still stands as one of my favorite contemporary rock records, and frankly, I don't think it received as much attention as it deserved. A short EP and a couple years later, it looks like these dudes are gearing up for a new LP, offering us a sneak peak in the form of "The Spell"; a track that should be immediately pleasing to anyone who grew up in plaid shirts and ripped jeans.
