Needy Visions - "How Are You?" (Nerdy Virgins Single) 2011

Anyone hip to the Boston scene is sure to have heard about The Needy Visions. Members Dan Shea and Sam Potrykus have their hands on just about everything cool going on in the city, from The Whitehaus, to Bodies of Waters Shows, to the Counter Cultural Compass, to the annual HOMEGROWN Underground Music fest. Last night the boys played me their latest single "Nerdy Virgins," and I was promptly knocked on my ass. Potrykus' ripped up fuzz bass might as well be a fuckin' chainsaw cutting through you chest, perfectly complimented by Shea's blown-out vocals and keyboard ramblings. It took only one listen for this tune to get stuck in my head. Not only that, but the cover art rules. Needless to say, I think you'll enjoy it.
