I had the distinct pleasure last night to see MMOSS play at Viva Viva's SXSW homecoming party, and...well...I was blown away. MMOSS has definitely surrounded themselves with some well deserved local hype, but for some reason I had never gotten the chance to see them live. Their sound is clearly reminiscent of 60s folk and psychedelia, but I haven't seen many contemporary bands that pull it off quite as well. There is an earthy/organic nature to MMOSS that is impossible not to get swept up in. Be sure to check out their bandcamp page & the tune below.
